Acceptable Usage Policy
Wazzup Internet’s aim is to provide Internet services to our customers that allow our customers the unhindered freedom of the Internet. The vastness and flexibility of the Internet and being able to use it brings legal and other responsibilities that must be adhered to by you as a customer and Wazzup Internet as your service provider.
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out to define the following aspects of the service:
- Rules of conduct when using Wazzup Internet’s service.
- Usage rules and guidelines set by Wazzup Internet to ensure that quality service is available to all users.

Unlawful Activities
Wazzup Internet’s services is subject to all South African laws and any international laws. You may not commit or contribute to any offence being carried out including:
- Publishing, distributing, circulating or otherwise propagating any material which may be deemed illegal, abusive, offensive, anti-social, racist, distressing, harmful or threatening
- Infringing the rights of others including privacy and copyright
- Intentionally causing a reduction in performance or functionality of any computer or network facility.
Electronic Communications
You may not use any Wazzup Internet service to:
- Send unsolicited or bulk mail, also classified as spam.
- Subscribe to a mailing list without authorization using an e-mail address that is not owned by you.
- Impersonate another individual or organisation or attempt to conceal your identity.
- Send messages that constitute a criminal offence.
- Send messages that contain offensive or illegal content.
- Send mass messages or invites.
- Send messages that infringe or violate third party intellectual property rights or copyright.
- Engage in unsolicited advertising.
Security
Wazzup Internet takes no responsibility for the security of your electronic devices utilising our internet services, including but not limited to: personal computers, tablet computers, laptops, notebooks, servers, PDA’s and cell phones.
Wazzup Internet recommends that you protect your electronic device(s) with anti-virus software and a firewall.
General Abuse
- You may not run port scanning software on the Wazzup Internet
- You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any computer system.
- You may not undertake in any activity that has an adverse effect on Wazzup Internet’s service or its users.
AUP Enforcement
Wazzup Internet reserves the right to suspend or terminate, without prior warning, any account that has not adhered to the rules and guidelines outlined in the Acceptable Usage Policy document.
